The Big Green Egg Large is the most popular model in the Big Green Egg family. You, your family and your friends can easily prepare your favorite dishes on the cooking surface of the Large model. Every Big Green Egg feels at home in an EGG nest. When you place your EGG in the base frame, you can literally see it grow. The nest gives the EGG the optimum working height. Your back will thank you! The EGG Nest is made of powder-coated steel and is equipped with four sturdy swivel wheels so that the EGG can be moved easily.
The convEGGtor forms a natural heat shield between the dishes and the open fire of the Big Green Eggs. The special shape of the convEGGtor allows good air circulation and excellent heat conduction. The indirect heat created by this ceramic heat shield transforms your EGG into a full-fledged outdoor oven. Ideal for low & slow cooking, where ingredients are cooked slowly and at a low temperature.
Job done: The search for the perfect charcoal for the Big Green Egg has come to an end. The premium charcoal consists of a mixture of 80 % oak wood and 20 % hickory, which greatly benefits the flavor of your dishes. The charcoal quickly reaches a high temperature and can maintain it for a long time.
With the barbecue igniters you can get off to a flying start when EGGing. The charcoal in the Big Green Egg can be lit safely, without any ignition fluid or chemical additives. These barbecue lighters consist of pressed wood fibers. So there is no (black) smoke and no penetrating petroleum smell.
The ash scraper actually has a dual function: you can use it to easily remove the ash from the Big Green Egg, but you can also use it to spread the charcoal when lighting the EGG. Together with the ash shovel, this practical tool forms a top team
